My portfolio is about reconnecting with nature. This is one of the final pieces, representing being completely absorbed in nature and achieving nirvana, a transcendent state of oneness with the universe.

ReplyDeleteThe esoteric environment of water/sky, clouds,swirling mud, reflections/stars are really wonderful.
You need to put your Materials, Process/Ideas in writing, as you know. By the end of the year you may forget what you were thinking now. Be sure to tell them how you physically stirred up the mud so it is clear that it was not just digital layering.
For continuity you might consider 3 clouds, 3 trees, etc. But maybe not, you've already got these penned out. Just make sure your theme is emerging. Maybe this piece is the beginning and the cut out lines begin from the next piece (on top of?) Then throuout?
