Ideas: The white zentangles are a recurring motif representing the Tao, a transcendent spiritual force existing in harmony with nature. This piece shows the depressing inside contrasted with beautiful outside
Piece 2: water the root

Ideas: The Tao grows in harmony and connected with nature, here it branches from the tree in harmony with it but not limited to it, spreading out ad infinitem
Piece 3: reborn

Ideas: representing the way people can change positively over time, being reborn and blooming like a flower
Piece 4: sky blue sky
Materials: printed photo, paper, exacto knife
Processes: took and printed pictures, cut paper with exacto knife and collaged
Ideas: the power lines represent human technology that can cut off connection from the Tao, but the beauty of nature is still present here
Piece 5: magic mountain
Materials: printed photos
Processes: printed two photos (mountain and tree/sky) and collaged them
Ideas: sunset, tree after fall represent the end is coming, nature has a peaceful acceptance
Piece 6: well rested (when the fires come)
Materials: printed photos, exacto knife, paper
Processes: took and printed pictures, cut paper with exacto knife and collaged
Ideas: as the world as we know it burns and the man made world destroys itself (glitching), the Tao comes from the outside to embrace and take over
Piece 7: unison (we will become silhouettes)
Materials: photo (colors manipulated heavily)
Processes: kicked up mud clouds in water and took picture with my hand over it
Ideas: humanity (the hand) is absorbed back into everything. The zentangles are gone because everything is simply one, and that is all
